A wonderful morning yesterday paddling out of Eagle Bay to visit a number of Humpback Whales and their calves as they migrate south to Antarctica for the summer.

The Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association (AOCRA) is the peak body in Australia. The AOCRA website can be found here: http://www.aocra.com.au/ In WA (Western Zone) there are 6 outrigger clubs based in Perth, Mandurah, Bunbury, and Busselton.
Geographe Outriggers has six person outrigger canoes (OC6's), a double (OC2) and solo outrigger canoes (OC1's) and competes in events and regattas involving marathons and sprints in spring and summer.
We have men's, women's, and mixed categories. Outrigger canoeing is about fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment on the ocean!
