Meelup Long Boat - January 2014
The first Long Boat Run of the season left the Yacht Club at sunrise this morning and paddled a bearing to Meelup Beach, 25 kms across the Bay. The first crew arrived there after 2 hours and 37 minutes. The second crew made the return crossing in 2 hours and 57 minutes - just less than 6 hours for our first 50 km crossing in Hihimanu.
